Little is known of the elder god with whom Freezo made a pact to empower his Warlock abilities, but it may be the same entity who meddles in mortal affairs through acts such as telling Bobby Pancakes to murder an innocent lion, or threatening Freezo with heart attacks when he is being annoying. This entity, known variously as "God" and "Dave," exists outside the known Forgotten Realms pantheon but nonetheless possesses great power, bestowing Dice of Inspiration upon those who find his favor and threatening punishment against those who incur his wrath.
Prior to the events of Season 2, Freezo beheld a tome of great power—The Players' Handbook—and became enthralled of its dark secrets. Thus was escalated the struggle for power between God and his errant creation.
