The Horsey Two-Horse
Bittersweet cherry with the spice of dry ginger beer and a manly kick - a perfect beverage to honour the bittersweet memory of a good horse briefly owned by a spicy, manly and handsome man fond of kicking.
In a mixing glass with block ice, stir:
- 2 oz (60ml) bourbon
- 1oz (30ml) unsweetened cherry juice
- 4 oz (120ml) dry ginger beer
- 4 dashes Angostura bitters
Strain through a hawthorne into two rocks glasses and top up with cube ice. Garnish each with two cherries (Morello/Luxardo).
Drink both. This is not two drinks, it's one drink served for double fisting.
Now fly kick a door in a grief-fuelled rage.
