James was an 18-year-old hobgoblin living in Frisko's Camp. He and his best friend Clive were encountered by Freezo, Kithercy and Bobby Pancakes as they attempted to escape hobgoblin captivity.
Drunk from Philge's coronation party, James blurted that he had always wanted to be a doctor, which the group immediately tried to exploit. Kithercy attempted to cast "cure light wounds" to prove she was a doctor herself, but this backfired when James interpreted her sudden lunge as an attack. Kithercy then panicked and cast "holy smite," which fatally exploded his face.
