There is no Freezo any more. There is only Snailzo.
Key events[]
- Bethanee has a vision of hell and heaven clashing. To fix the now broken orb that formerly revived everyone in Elysium, she needs to obtain an artifact of Zariel - a pre-fall artifact of Zariel, to be more specific.
- Reuniting with the rest of the friends, Freezo states that 'in a few days time, he has to not help a certain person' in order to satisfy the terms of the contract, or else he'll die. When he discusses these terms, he takes serious damage.
- The party reaches an encampment led by a wereboar called Raggadragga, who firmly believes he is a cinographer. The party learns Mad Maggie of Fort Knucklebone (where they were once heading) betrayed him and his crew. The wereboar seeks revenge and wishes to steal some bikes from her camp.
- Freezo gets even more cursed due to things backfiring on him, becoming Snailzo. Everyone believes he licked a toad.
- Freezo has another meeting with the archdevil, who explains why the contract is hurting him and what happens if he fails to complete it. After this hallucination, Freezo wakes and finds Bethanee. After a good talk, the latter believes the previous friends of the former abandoned him and she snaps the Friendship Necklace, freeing Freezo from its effects.
- The party meets Mad Maggie of the Madcaps. They decide to double-cross Raggadragga and explain the situation to Maggie. The hag promises to do them all a stated favor if they capture the wereboar:
- Bethanee: a way to get to the relic of the fallen angel, Zariel
- Kit: a way out of Avernus
- Freezo: a cure for the bloodstrife. Or, possibly, because he tries to get more out of the deal, a touch of the hag's stone in her neck, plus possibly a way of becoming a hag (Maggie eventually settles on the first)
- Bushu: hotdogs (he doesn't sign the contract)
- The party ambush Raggadragga when he enters Mad Maggie's camp, capturing him.
- Maggie honors the contract... but has them captured so they can be shipped up to Zariel - the only way to get to an artifact of Zariel.

Themes, tropes and running jokes[]
- Dragon Huddle: because the Beef Babes forgot what they named their version of the huddle, they go for Security Break instead.
- Freezo's Curses: already being under the effects of Bloodstrife AND an infernal contract (which, in fairness, did alleviate the effects of his poison), Freezo first rolls a natural 1 on a witch bolt, cursing him with a fat leg, and then he drinks a Potion of Clairvoyance which he FORGOT was cursed, giving him snail eyes. Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you: Snailzo.
- Modern things in a fantasy world: Raggadragga's underlings insist that their boss believes he's a cinographer because he's high on the toad's he's licking, if only because they have no idea what a cameraman, director and even a movie is.
- Dice of Inspiration: When the contract details are explained, the devil tries to frighten Freezo in telling him that failing the contract will harm him in ways he can't imagine. Freezo goes mad against him and cites basically every disturbing thing that happened to him, including technically non-canonical things like the Dragon Friends nailing a bolt through his crook gentlemen during the Tomb of Annihilation stream.
- Freezo has a chance to flee at the end of the adventure, but because of Hing's indecisiveness (he won't be around for the next episode), the one-armed and frail Mickey starts beating him up instead.
Trivia[]
- The party has leveled up.
- Now officially a Paladin of Vengeance instead of Redemption, Bethanee more clearly states her goals (more or less a repeat from the last episode): she seeks to destroy the church of Pelor and the traitorous King Priest, but not Pelor itself.
- Bushu is apparently ticklish. He doesn't like tickling and resists it poorly.
- Mad Moira is confirmed to be known as Mad Maggie, but it isn't confirmed if she's the same as the actual Moira La Rune from season 2.
- Freezo has no idea how to thank Bethanee for breaking the Friendship Necklace, but states he won't forget that she did.
- Mad Maggie honors the contract in the following ways:
- Bethanee: shipped up to Zariel's floating ziggurat
- Kit: told that there's no direct way out she can offer. Only Tiamat, mother of all dragons, can provide that way out.
- Freezo: offers no direct way to solve the Bloodstrife, but she will try
- Bushu: got hotdogs. He technically didn't sign the contract - in fact, he doesn't sign without his lawyer, Kyle Buschman.
