The Gribbits Detective Agency is an episodic format for the Twitch stream, beginning in 2021 after the end of season two of Beef Babes. It's based on the same premise as the Dragon+ magazine adventure of the same name and takes place in the aftermath of season 6.

The cast present for each episode - generally a standalone adventure weaving into the greater plot - is different. This includes its Dungeon Master, meaning that not just Dave but also others may helm the adventure (notably Edan Lacey and Demi Lardner).

The Gribbits Detective Agency have their own website: https://gribbits.agency/. This is also the place where you can find all the cases (links to YouTube episodes) and a map of Waterdeep titled Slaughterdeep which shows the current territorial control of Waterdeep, including the state of chaos it's currently in.

The show was put on hiatus after season 2 in favor of Monster Pitch Theatre.

The agency[]

Somewhere prior to the great battle of Redrun, Janos Meer foresaw the possibility that he and his associate, Gribbits, may go missing from Waterdeep for a variety of reasons. Fearing that this would put the Beggar's Court and possibly the civil peace at risk, he set up a contingency plan: if he and Gribbits were ever gone from the city for more than 60 days, Meer’s friend Vinegar Pimms would access a safe with letters of indebted favour and call in those debts. These individuals would help set up a problem-solving service, with their base of operations in the (then abandoned) Quicklime House.

The Agency exists primarily as civic service for those in the Beggar's Court and is named after its patron. Pimms runs the operation with help of Trenessa.
