The Waterdeep Guild of Thieves, Tricksters, and Beggars is an underground criminal fraternity run by Janos Meer, the Beggar King. Long-simmering tensions with the Shipwrights' Guild come to a head during the events of It True, Me Your Nightmare (1.08) and lead to war between the two factions.
